TIRUPUR STAKEHOLDERS FORUM (TSF) an initiative of Tiruppur Exporters’ Association (TEA) and TEA – Women Empowerment Sub Committee in collaboration with Tirupur Thirumuruganpoondi Rotary Club are regularly conducting awareness programs on breast cancer and cervical cancer for women in their member units. In continuation screening camp was organized on Breast Cancer and Cervical Cancer for women with the co-operation of Coimbatore Medical Center & Hospitals (KMCH). Medical team in association with Mettupalayam and Thirumuruganpoondi Rotary Club through a project called PROJECT HEAL in member units using an expensive examination vehicle equipped with all digital 3D technology to help detect breast cancer at its early stage.

One such camp was organized on 04^th October 2024 in SNQS Internationals Pvt Ltd, a company owned by Vice president of TEA and Chairman of TSF, Mr. V. Elangovan. More than 60 women above the age of forty participated in this screening camp and were benefited. In this event KMCH Medical Team, PROJECT HEAL Project Coordinator Mr. V.G. Anand Ram and team, President of Thirumuruganpoondi Rotary Club Dr. D Karthikeyan, TEA Women Empowerment Sub-Committee Chairman Ms. Sumita Ravi, Vice-Chairman Smt. Sudha Sivasubramaniam and member Mrs. Shruthika Sethu were present.

SNQS Internationals Director Smt. Santhy Elangovan inaugurated the screening camp.

About this initiative, the President of TEA Mr. K.M. Subramanian said that as part of the social welfare work carried out by the association, all women workers should benefit by participating in such screening camps and awareness programs conducted for the benefit of women workers in the member companies.
