Launch of Logics of Logistics – Guidelines for Tiruppur Exporters on 08 August 2025
Mr. N. Thirukkumaran, General Secretary, TEA, stated that The Logics of Logistics guideline for exporters will serve as a remarkable guide for exporters in the logistics sector. He appreciated the efforts of Mr. Kumar Duraiswamy, Joint Secretary, Mr. R.K. Sivasubramaniam, Chairman, Membership Sub Committee and the logistics panel for their contributions.
Mr. Kumar Duraiswamy, Joint Secretary, TEA, thanked Mr. Anand Mohan Mishra, JDGFT, Coimbatore, for highlighting that the industry’s concerns regarding the tariffs imposed by the United States would be submitted to the Central Government. He thanked the logics of logistics panel members and their management and Dakshin Bharat Gateway Terminal Pvt Ltd, Thoothukudi, for sponsoring the initiative.
Mr. K.M. Subramanian, President, TEA, expressed confidence that the current U.S. tariffs are temporary and that Tiruppur exporters, like the phoenix, will overcome all challenges. He stated that the handbook would serve as a ready reckoner for everyone involved in the logistics process.
Padmashri Dr. A. Sakthivel, Honorary Chairman, TEA , appreciated the President’s leadership in taking a pioneering step toward creating the logistics handbook. He also thanked Mr. Anand Mohan Mishra for resolving several long-standing issues since assuming office in Coimbatore.
Mr. Anand Mohan Mishra, JDGFT, Coimbatore, announced that a seminar on the India–UK Free Trade Agreement would soon be organized jointly with TEA. He remarked that the book would serve as an effective guide for exporters involved in the logistics process.
