As part of the Membership Subcommittee initiative, the Tiruppur Exporters Association (TEA) held a meeting titled “Logics of Logistics” on 30th December 2024 at the Padmashri Dr. A. Sakthivel Auditorium, TEA, Tiruppur. The session presided over by TEA President Thiru K. M. Subramanian included special addresses by Joint Secretary Thiru Kumar Duraiswamy and Membership Subcommittee Chairman Thiru R. K. Sivasubramaniam, alongside other key office bearers.
The meeting featured an expert panel of industry professionals who addressed challenges such as pre-shipment errors, operational inefficiencies and post-shipment complications. Topics included SOP procedures, export documentation, ICEGATE challenges, duty drawbacks, banking sector roles, credit insurance and forex management. Participants engaged actively, gaining valuable insights to improve operational efficiencies.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks from Thiru M. Rathinasamy, highlighting the importance of such initiatives in enhancing the global competitiveness of Tiruppur’s export industry.
